CFA Level 1: 285 hours and Counting

Staring at the 6 volume books, my goodness...285 hours and counting down for the Level 1 before I take my 6 hours Level 1 exam on December 7 2013. About two thirds of the candidates taking the CFA Program will fail and the most recent passing rate for Level 1 is 38%. I have to kinda record my struggles, challenges and accomplishments undertaking this Program. Is this a good decision? Is it worth my time? Perhaps if I obtain my CFA charter one day I would be able to reflect back and give you an answer for now it's back to the study table. I am taking the CFA for personal education as well as seeing how it takes me along in life. Here's an overview about the CFA program: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chartered_Financial_Analyst
